Safer Sex Safer
Sex Education . . . What's that? In a nut shell, it the ways people learn
to decrease the negative risks involved of being sexual. This concept is fairly
similar to Driver's Education. Anybody can have sex, just like anybody can get
behind the wheel of a car to drive . . . But are they really ready. Does each
person really know how to turn the car on, fill the tank with gas, change the
oil, use a stick shift, ask for directions when she or he is lost. Can she/he
navigate the roads and watch for oncoming cars. Does the person drive
aggressively or defensively? Safer sex education helps decrease the risks
involved such as unplanned pregnancies or sexually transmitted infections.
Sexually transmitted infections include HIV, herpes, gonorrhea, and clamydia.
Lastly, safer sex increases communication amongst all those involved, which can
result in a higher level of enjoyment. WARNING: Studies show that people without sex education or driver's education have an increased rate of accidents. Education does not guarantee safety, but will decrease the frequency of problems. Fun tips on safer sex activities: |
